Negation with Verbs

Negative commands use avo + infinitive:

  • Avo garo! — Do not do it!
  • Avo meno! — Do not go!

Negative statements use ú- prefix (triggers soft mutation):

  • Ú-cenin — I do not see
  • Ú-melon — I do not love
