智慧 is the highest term in a hierarchy of Chinese cognitive vocabulary: 知识 (knowledge/information) < 聪明 (cleverness/intelligence) < 智慧 (wisdom). 智慧 implies both depth of understanding and ethical soundness. In modern usage, 智慧 has been productively combined with technology vocabulary: 智慧城市 (smart city), 智慧医疗 (smart healthcare) — though here it is closer to "smart/intelligent" than to traditional wisdom.
