How to Use These Lists

  1. Don't try to memorize all at once: Pick one topic relevant to an upcoming conversation or situation
  2. Add to Anki: Copy words you want to learn into an Anki deck for SRS reinforcement
  3. Find them in the wild: After learning a topic, actively look for these words in NHK Easy, manga, or anime
  4. Learn in sentences: Whenever possible, learn a word with an example sentence attached
